In search of a low calorie, refreshing summer treat? This utilizes two summer favorites…blueberries and watermelon, with no sugar added!
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh cut watermelon
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
Combine the three ingredients in the blender.
Blend until the fruit is minced. Next, pour into a plastic cup and place in the freezer.
Allow mixture to begin to freeze. Every 20-30 minutes, pull the cup out of the freezer and stir up. It will start to get a thick, icy texture to it. Once it has reached your desired frostiness, enjoy!
This mixture is also great to pour straight into freeze pop molds to enjoy a cool refreshing treat another day!
