I grew up with homemade banana bread and once I was old enough to cook, my mom passed along her banana bread recipe to me.  I love this recipe!  It smells amazing while baking and my own kids really love it!

Ingredients:

4 ripe bananas

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

3 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Next step is to mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Once completely mixed, pour into individual greased tin loafs (this can also be baked in a large bread pan, just adjust the cooking time).

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the tops of the loaves have browned and an inserted toothpick comes out clean.  Allow to cool and serve.

Any uneaten loaves can be individually sealed in plastic bags and popped into the freezer for a yummy homemade snack another time!
